NICKI ROBERTS
CLIENT SERVICES DIRECTOR
Nicki joined Marketforce in September 2008 as the Client Services Director; her extensive experience in trade marketing and circulation spans over 14 years across various market sectors and disciplines. Nicki’s responsibilities at Marketforce include new business as well as running the Independent Publisher Group.
Joining from Seymour Distribution, Nicki had most latterly been the Trade Marketing Director for Egmont Magazines, and on the Senior Management Team at Seymour. Previously, she had been the Deputy Client Services Director at Seymour, working with some of the UK’s leading publishers. Nicki joined Seymour from Frontline at the advent of the joint venture with Hachette, to consolidate and lead the international trading teams on behalf of emap, BBC, Haymarket and Hachette. Prior to which she had been the Group Trade Marketing and Circulation Manager across several of the emap divisions including Metro, Images and Elan.
Nicki comments: "The UK publishing industry is facing some of its most challenging times; continually changing retail dynamics, uncertainty in the supply chain, and increasingly more cautious consumer spending – that means we must deliver sharper and more sophisticated service levels to our publishing partners, innovation and insight to our retailers, and increasingly, encouragement to consumers. Ultimately, we are here to drive growth for all in the chain."
