ALLAN ASHLEY

FINANCE DIRECTOR

Allan joined the Newstrade industry in 1986 as a Chartered accountant, and worked for a number of years as IPC Financial Controller. In the early nineties as Marketforce was formed to become a limited company, Allan was appointed to Finance Director at Marketforce. Within this role, Allan was a founding member of the Marketforce formal board which involved acting as a legal officer for the company.

Allan's financial experience is wide-reaching, and consists of management accounting and business support functions. His role is both financially and commercially orientated, helping to support the Marketforce management board to generate management activity, allowing the most profitable decisions to be made and ensuring adherence to regulation is consistent and appropriate.

We have an excellent portfolio of publisher clients and our clear, professional approach to these clients is second to none. There are certainly challenges ahead within the industry, with the power of grocery retailers and how to effectively deal with independent retailers. However, we are very capable of dealing with these challenges because we are a company who work very well under pressure".
