ANDY WEBSTER

IT DIRECTOR

Andy has followed a varied IT career path after graduating from Manchester University in 1988. He has worked in the financial services and the public sector before joining Marketforce in 1996 and becoming IT director in 2000. During his time as Marketforce IT Director, Andy has been charged with the responsibility for a number of large projects. This includes the development and introduction of Quartz in 2002 which brought Marketforce’s allocation systems to the forefront of the industry. Furthermore, Andy is currently involved with driving the agenda on the ORION project with the objective of upgrading our current operational systems.

Andy comments: "We have a portfolio of first class systems, which we are continually building on. Marketforce's business is one that is based around information, and so it views IT as an enabler not just a service. As a consequence there is an enormous amount of support for the IT team around the business, and the two work very much in partnership to deliver the applications that Marketforce need to enable the business to grow and develop".
