Production & Supply Chain Management
Our Production team transforms the inspirational content and design visions of our magazine teams into physical products. Working with our printers, mailing houses, advertisers and paper suppliers, the team manage the end to end process of paper, print manufacture, mailing and distribution into Marketforce’s logistics team.
Constantly researching the market for innovative new print solutions, our Production team create everything from one-off bookazines to monthly and weekly magazines as well as any other bespoke print for our clients and partners.
Our Logistics Team is the crucial link, for all of our magazine publishing partners, between distributor, printer, finisher, wholesaler and international agents, and they ensure that on-sale dates are met. Adept at building and managing logistical solutions and supporting the navigation of our UK and ROI primary supply chain, international consolidation and freight forwarding networks.
Often referred to as the engine room at Marketforce, our Operations team are at the forefront of our retailer and wholesale communications. Responsible for managing all of the key data attributes for every title and the associated processes, they integral to the accurate delivery of our client’s products into the newstrade.
Demand Planning & Allocation
Our Supply Management team works in tandem with our Circulation teams to provide advice and recommendations on the optimisation of magazine print supplies.
We understand that things are ever changing in our industry, that material and production costs are a key focus and therefore profitability of magazine supply is vitally important to our clients. Our Supply Team is here to help support decision making around maximising copy placement through finding the right exchange between volume sales, efficiency, availability, volatility and profitability.
As our conduit to wholesale, the Supply Team manages compliance, both in retailer ranges and paid for retail promotional placement, ensuring a cohesive allocation approach across our wholesale network.
Finance & Global Billing Management
Our dedicated Finance Team manages our self billing payments system, which means we take care of the hard work of processing all trade related invoicing, credits and payments. The team works closely with all service departments to ensure accuracy and attention to detail in this crucial area of the business.
